Realistically, who do you think would be most likely to trade for Anderson?

Going around the league, I know a few teams would want him but I feel like we won't get nearly as much as some think we can net for him in a trade.

Everyone can use a Ryan Anderson. He's just our best opportunity to net a reasonable asset moving forward, so he needs to go.

Toronto is a good candidate. 2nd in the East, have an extra 1st (NYK), and starting Scola at PF.

Toronto would be a good location although they kind of already have a stretch 4 in Patrick Patterson. I guess they could move him if necessary.

Scott S. Refuses to play Gordon so I wonder if we could pry him away from them

It would never happen, plus we have a logjam at the guard spots, but man I would love to get KCP

If we did the Trade with the Wizards do you think we could get Otto Porter or Kelly Oubre Jr.? Both are SF's and Oubre is a New Orleans native.

I still say that best case scenario we could get a late first rounder and a young, questionable talent.

At this point though you have to trade him. If you don't he walks for nothing and Demps lets one of his legitimately good major moves walk away with no consolation prize.

I don't care, just get him out before he tanks his value completely

They traded up for Oubre and are very high on him. I don't see them trading him. Maybe Porter, but doubtful since they aren't ready to hand the gig to Oubre outright yet.

As long as we get more than a washing machine, we are good.

sadly, Demps will probably frik it up and trade Anderson to Orlando for Frye...just for good measure, he will probably throw in our first round pick.

I hope we can finagle a 1st from Toronto, maybe the less favorable of their pick or the NY pick. At worst I think they may be willing to part with the 2017 LAC top-14 protected first.

With the new cap and everyone having money, the value of draft picks seems to have gone up. It is going to be the only way to get talent on cheap contracts. With Ryno expiring, he is just not worth that much.

What about Terrance Ross from Toronto? 3 year $33 million for next year and he isnt' starting there anymore with Carroll.

Ross for Ryno straight up should work. If there was a way to throw Asik to them I'd be happy.
Ryno/Asik for Ross/Patterson/Biyombo?

Hell no. Why would we want to take on his salary? He's just not good. If he has not progressed yet, he won't do so here. I would rather just a pick.

he will make $11 million, is a good defender and a 37% 3 point shooter.
He's a better replacement for EG, making less money.
I'd rather him than nothing. It's nothing to get excited about, but it's something.
He's not a #1 or even a #2 guy, but he's a good 3rd or 4th scorer.

He has potential to be better given the right circumstances.

What's sad is that this offseason we were talking about trying to create cap space and winning a playoff series so we could have a good chance of enticing a top talent to come here in FA. Now we are back to being the lowly New Orleans team trying to trade our way into players someone else doesn't want hoping they can become better for us.

The best deal we can get for Anderson would be with a contender, as his contract ends after this season. I'd see something like OKC giving us Anthony Morrow, Nick Collison, and a First Rd. Pick
