I know most(myself included) are anti monty but I wanted to propose this question:

Would you be fine with monty if he got new assistants? I think a guy like malone or another assistant that can help the defense.

I'm not terribly impressed with his assistants and wonder if a change there could make a difference?

Just food for thought

I don't think there's any way sticking with Monty is the best option available. But he's also not the worst option. One of Montys biggest problems IMO has been coaching to the team he wants, not the team he has. Maybe he'll be a good fit if the roster catches up to the coaching.

I just don't think he's a good motivator, it doesn't make sense that they team plays so well against great opponents and lacks motivation versus crap opponents. I just think it's time for a fresh start at the coaching position.

he constantly gets undermanned squads to beat teams they shouldn't. i agree that there's an issue with not being able to beat teams they should when healthy, but you have to admit the other side as well

I think that players motivate themselves when playing against tough competition. The team lacks that motivation when playing against shite squads. Someone has to realize this and make adjustments.

I'm fine with keeping monty regardless. It's the training staff I'm more worried about.

Unless you're bringing in a proven coach that would immediately help bring us to the next level, I like the direction the entire organization is headed.

Williams is a good transition coach. He did his job. Now it's time to find a coach who can take the team to the next level.

What does Monty want? Someone posted a DRating differential with/without Asik post ASB and it's staggering. Yet he rides pine for 12 minute stretches and only lately occasionally finishes out games.

I want that motherfricker gone no matter what. I used to think making the playoffs would save him for me, but that's no longer good enough. He's a loser and will fall short every year AD is here until he leaves us. We have to make deep moves into the postseason now. He needs to go asap.

I agree we would be nearly a lock for the playoffs if we took care of that already. I am back and forth on Monty (kind of like our season has gone) but he probably should go if we want to ever hit championship level status. But who would take us there Thibadou?
