Problem with the franchise is the front office and the coach, not the players

Boogie and AD combined with decent guard play is a good enough to be a winning franchise. There are plenty of coaches better than Gentry to get the job done, and the front office has been unsuccessful for so long it would do no harm to blow it up at this point. Coaches can be easily swapped or dumped, but our current talent needs to stay

This is a simple, what should be obvious, point. It's literally quoted that Loomis doesn't GAF and he still has his job, so that tells you what you need to know about the front office.

I don't know man. Outside of AD and boogie this roster is trash. I seen a lot of wide open misses from our "shooters" this year. Solomon hill, Moore, Frazier, Monty, asik, and Cunningham are just a bunch of wasted roster spots. We might have one of the worst constructed teams in the league

I don't have a problem with sucking right now. We lost too many shooters. We lost Buddy, Galloway, Reke...then lost Casspi right away due to injury. This team has no real solid backups and role players right now. It will take the offseason to rebuild our second unit and find a shooter or two for our first unit. Couldn't do all of that before the trade deadline. We'll be fine next year. The upside is that missing the playoffs gives us a better shot at losing Gentry or striking it rich in the lottery.

Front office should have traded away everyone except AD and DC for expiring contracts. Then go after a new coach CP3 and Hayward. Instead the Pelicans are stuck in mediocrity with two of the top fifteen players in the league.

Calipari could probably bring in Wall or Bledsoe who is very good at the point. He has shooters he could at least have mutual incentive, Booker, Murray and soon Monk. All Ky guys would be a novelty to Cal. He likes doing shite that's different. Problem is he makes 8 mil a season now, private jet anytime he wants it. He would want 10-12 mil plus full control.

Need to get rid of Demps and Gentry and bring in Dumars to run things and Lionel Hollins as head coach. Hollins did great work in Memphis, a small market team with 2 good post players.

I hate to tell you this, but Kentucky pro players suck and they always have. I already hate having 2 or 3 on the team as it is. They all have these huge reputations. Then they come into the league and underperform. Everybody knows it. A "superstar" team made up of all their guys wouldn't even make a top 4 seed in either conference.

Think I'm the only one that thinks that. Here is someone that shares my opinion (LINK ). All that talent and barely anything to show for it. Nobody has wasted and underdeveloped as much talent as Cal in the history of basketball..

What kind of GMs are out there? Any Darryl Morey metrics guys? Who would you guys be eyeing? I hate the sinking feeling that we got these two studs and won't be able to construct a legit roster.
