Let's say 7-10. Maybe some sign in trade deal for Jennings or Evans.

I don't know who they go after on the FA market that is a max player.

:inb4CP3:

Maybe they go after Jennings with a big offer.

The most obvious targets are Jennings, CP3 and Iggy, but Demps regularly pulls off the unexpected so who knows.

It's hard to determine what we have in Vasquez long term here without seeing him on court with Davis and Gordon on court together. Maybe SF is the highest priority we should have.

I was going to post a thread asking how many players on this roster will be on next year's?

I say 7-8.

With this draft class looking weak according the the scouts, would anyone be upset at dell trading the pick to get back a pg or sf?

Unless the pick is high enough to get an NBA ready impact player, I'd almost expect Demps to trade the pick for a more developed player. Even though there are no more attendance benchmarks, attendance has been soft, so I'm sure Benson won't be happy with another year of rebuilding next season.

I could see that.

I think the only safe players are Davis, Rivers and Anderson. Rivers better succeed because I don't think Monty will give up on him until it's too late.

I hope not. Rivers is closer to pariah than brahmin on the untouchable scale.

I'm skeptical about brewer because he doesn't score that well. I think chandler would be an ideal fit but he's been plagued by injuries the past couple of years.

They are both upgrades, but neither is "the answer."

People seem to not know that Danny Granger has played in the same amount of games as Gordon this year and also has a history of injuries.

Trade idea from MM at 247

quote:

As for trades, I think the Hornets could target a win now team and do something like Lopez and Vasquez for Bledsoe, a late first, and expirings.

Doesn't seem too unrealistic if the Clippers are all in on Paul.
