Jay King ? ?@ByJayKing
Perk said Durant has a few teams he will be looking at this summer. "He made me sign a confidentiality form that I couldn’t tell nobody."

Jay King ? ?@ByJayKing
More Perk on Kevin Durant: "They win it all, he can’t leave in my opinion. But if they don’t, it might be time for a change.”

I bet we were a choice which was why Perk came here to get a feel for the org rather than going to a contender but after this season no way.

Jalen rose said on his podcast that if he leaves OKC it will be to go to Houston. Iirc he called lebron leaving Cleveland to go to MIA before anyone else so take it for what it's worth

Only way this is Pels related is that Perkins is on the Pels. Nothing more. Nothing less. Maybe even less actually.

It was always a super long shot, obsvy...but who knows, if we made some noise this year with a young, top 3 talent ballin out, it could make some sense for long-term success.

...we killed that dream this year. The organization was just outstanding all around. RIP

99% chance he signs a 2 year deal with OKC with a player option on the second year. Its something like a 50 million difference between a 5 year max this year and a 5 year max next year for him.

I'm not exactly optimistic that one of those teams is in New Orleans.

I'd go to Boston. Boston trades thier three first rounders to L.A. for Brandon Ingram and Roy Hibbert. You're in a big market team, in the East, with a young roster, and one of the best coaches in the NBA.

But hey, that's me.

Or he can play with a fellow top 5 player and great friend in Harden, his child hood friend and AAU teammate since age 11 Mike Beasley, and his mentor Kevin Ollie as Head Coach. AND get to compete in the WEST.

Yea, KD definitely sent Perk here as a feeler!

Captain Obvious to say he'd be a great pickup, but HOU desperately needs him because the roster as presently constructed cannot win a title without adding another elite piece.

No Perk came on his own because he may have though we were a top choice.

Bingo.

He gets that 10 year/super max salary or whatever it's called if he signs the multi-year deal after next season.
