Those people don't "get it". I know it's cliche, but New Orleans is just different. Obviously it was designed to be different and quirky. Negative or positive, it's creating a buzz and the national media is covering it. It's just a damn mascot. That's a win for Pels PR.

What a load of bullshite. I live in NOLA. I know it's different. But not one person that I know would imagine that hellspawn looking thing as being a logical representation of New Orleans.
