At Utah on the second game of a back to back is not really a game to expect to win.

Why no DMO? I don't get the rotations at all. He played very good vs the nuggets

DMO's been a train wreck on defense and has a worse NetRtg than Ajinca. He's also a little light in the arse so Gobert probably could have gotten whatever position he wanted against him too.

There should be a Quin cam when the jazz play imo. Like on TruTV or something.

Gobert didn't play 48 minutes last night.
They lost last night b/c their defense sucked. They allowed Diaw and Joe Johnson to take advantage of mis matches all night, something we rarely see the Pelicans ever do on the offensive side of the ball. The second Diaw or Johnson had a smaller guy on them, they backed them down and either scored or kicked out for a wide open 3, and usually made it.
I've watched AD be guarded by a SF and not get the ball all year, and the same with Cousins. that should never happen, yet we are too intent on running whatever offensive play was called instead of adjusting to what the defense gave you as an advantage, and exploit it.

When Solo left George Hill (39%) wide open in the corner for a hard closeout on Exum (29%) out on the wing, that's when I turned it off
It's like they didn't even go over defensive scouting reports

THIS. It happened twice last night, the first time Solo left Rodney Hood to close out on Exum. I completely lost my shite at that, the second time (George Hill) I just turned it off.

I made the decision at halftime to get blackout drunk either way, either in celebration or to numb the pain. It served quite well to achieve the latter.
What's weird is I rarely drink like I did last night; and while I definitely felt better after the loss, I remember everything crystal clear. I was extremely drunk but have no memory loss whatsoever.
My best guess it's the GCP Choline, tyrosine, phenylalanine and various racetams (all supplements - not drugs) I've been taking to up my production at work. That is what they're supposed to do (improve memory and focus).
If this pattern keeps up I'm going to have to take my partying to the next level knowing I can do so w/o any repercussions at work.

One last plus is that we won’t have to sit through another horrible broadcasting crew with Lisa Leslie stumbling through interviews and Brett Barry reading from a teleprompter all game.

That is a skill those 2 guys have made their careers off of. No one on the Pels, save Boogie, is going to back someone down effectively like that. Be great if Holiday or Moore or Hill developed some of that, but I'm not holding my breath.

True. It happens way too much.Same time, Davis isn't great at backing dudes down or sealing smaller defenders.

Not sure that's 100% true. For starters, I don't know how many plays the Pels actually call. Second, sometimes they just dont see the mismatch, or Davis, in particular, does not have good position, or they just don't work to make the entry pass.
And I'd be leery of always playing mismatch ball too. A smaller guy is on a bigger guy isn't always an accident. Again, other than Boogie, I don't know how many guys on this team I believe can score efficiently backing someone down
