Yeah but the reason people like these events in New Orleans is so they can be so close to everything. Staying anywhere outside of the actual city takes that away.

The city heavily opposes short term rentals/airbnb, so I doubt they will use that in their evaluation.

Agreed that the city opposes the short term rental, which is why I doubted if it has even been mentioned in the current proposals. However, if using data from short term rentals can be used to secure the ASG here, they will do whatever it takes.
