Just kidding, my complaints were never about his looks.

Dude certainly had awful fashion sense, but that matters about as much as much as his favorite vegetable.

all those guys (Evans, Gordon especially) are going to need to get into better shape

Gordon was actually in the best shape he's been in while a Hornican last year.

he is largely considered the guy who mentored westbrook, and taught him to get to the basket at such a high rate.

I really want Gordon to stay. I despised him for so long but seeing him fully healthy has been a real treat.

True. He looked slimmer and quicker.

hopefully he gets in jrue's ear, then, b/c jrue is too timid creating his own offense and he'll need to be more aggro in this system

if he can and does? he's a potential 20/8/5 and 20+ PER guy (with great perimeter D). crucial secondary piece next to AD

If Jrue can remain healthy, I am very optimistic about Gentry and Pack turning him into the player he can be.

Have said this since he's come here. Very smooth player but if he can stay healthy, he has a chance to become great.

He has only been there for 2 years. This is in no way bashing the guy, but Westbrook was a beast before the 2013-2014 season.

like i said a few days ago. jrue has too much doug collins in him. he tries way too hard to be a classical point guard in the inefficient 90s fashion. too much holding and looking to create. too much passing on good driving looks and 3s and settling for long 2s. he's never been under a good offensive coach so hopefully he can shed his past and reinvent himself and live up to his offensive threat potential

I remember one of the first things Jrue said after he was traded here was that he wouldn't have to worry about scoring as much because of all the offensive weapons we had.

Always thought somebody should've ended that attitude quickly. When Jrue is at his best, he's our second best player, and he's only at his best when he's aggressive.

well we're about to see how well he can run the pnr

i think gordon's dribbling and passing are going to help out a lot and if he can continue his play from teh end of last year our offense is going to be soooo tiiiggght.

That's what I'm hoping with Gentry and Pack.

Agreed. And I think they will change him. Jrue working in the system and staying healthy will change this team drastically.

They will stick with Asik for the Bogut role. That 3+D SF pick up is going to be the biggest thing this offseason.

Dude is really slick in the pick and roll game, so this hire could really help him out.

Westbrook took huge leaps once he was under the wing of Pack. He went from a nice player to a MVP talent.

I miss the in air squat from between the leg dunks. Used to see a lot more in the 90s

Do you just have a big boner for Monty? I mean really, most of us who followed the team all year had a love hate relationship with the guy. Did I think he would get another chance b/c he helped get a team to the playoffs, yes. Do I think firing him was the right move, yes. As, you know I believe the in season changes had a lot more to do with us making the playoffs then Monty did. We brought in experience not just being in the league experience, we brought in Playoff/Championship experience. You can sit here and argue with your stats and analytics but at the end of the day we dont bring in Cunningham, Cole, Pondexter we do not make the playoffs. We had Salmons at the end of the bench trying to help coach..... Come on man really. Monty was good for this team and this team for Monty both grew together. We just need to take a next step. Tyreke taking his time to walk up the floor almost getting a back court violation time and time again, end of the game break downs, not being able to foul in a timely manner, In game adjustments (Game 3). It goes on and on and on. Let it go, this organization did the right thing.
