He came here on the cheap with an expectation of getting X number of minutes. He won't get them now. Letting him go makes us look good to potential FA's because we made a sacrifice to help out one of our players. Plus he shares an agent with either Boogie or Jrue (I forget which).

so boogie's agent could hold a grudge against us if we don't release T Jones to go play elsewhere for the remaining 25 games while we're in playoff hunt and we've already helped T Jones have one of the best years of his career. I get it but if he goes to sign with a west contender, the shite pisses me off.

He's not. He's going to sign somewhere he can get a lot of minutes to be on showcase for his next contract.
