The 76rs pre poppa silver telling them to be competitive or he'd get involved were worse.

Hopefully this will be the nail in the coffin for Demps and Gentry

Nope. Built in excuse no AD

This team is really scrappy and the lines ups look like that group you bring in off the bench

Buddy should play more, he plays his arse off.

I really like Moore and Jones. Jones is Ballin right now

Hopefully this is the Langston we get from now on. Great spark off the bench

I am glad to see we still employe the take the guy who is hot out or go away from him down the stretch

We stink in the last 5 mins of every game. Lots of people trying to much and not slowing down and making smart plays

So far

AD - awesome
Jones - nice surprise
Moore - brings a lot more than I thought. Solid
Buddy - rookie looks like he has the tools to be solid

I would never, ever, want Monty back, but Gentry makes him look like Brad Stevens. I'm not sure how you go 5-6 possessions in a row letting the shot clock hit <5 before jacking up some hero ball prayer. Not to mention, I feel we are somehow out of timeouts late in games almost nightly. The team is right there, but there's no coaching going on late in games when it gets to "nut up/shut up" time. Monty, for all his failures, could at least draw up some sets out of timeouts.

People should be excited about Hield. It's obvious he's playing scared on his short leash. Those flashes of brilliance though are fun. He's a much smarter passer and much better at getting to the rim than most of us would have thought. That play to Jones last night that was the "Delivery of the Game" or whatever was just smart basketball. He had Jones early in the play but got in deeper, drawing the defender over and turning a contested layup into a wide open dunk.

on hield i just wish he'd get hot for one stretch like he did in college. i dont understand how that hasnt happened yet unless he's got a technique issue that is not translating on his jump shot

The game is too fast for him right now. You see glimpses and he's shown a lot of promise as a distributor and a ball handler. He's been surprisingly good getting to the basket and finishing. Once things slows down for him, he'll be a lot more versatile than we first imagined.

Pels 104

ORL 97

Jrue plays well. AD dominates with a 40/15 game.
