If the pick doesn't convey this year, SAC gets our 2018 unprotected.

He IS!

He will give it his heart, too.
(And the dude's got heart!)

1. It's the end of his contract year, and Joerger was messing with him. He wants to excel/blow-up here and now.

2. He is great with Boogie. (As both friend & team-mate):
When they DID share the court this year, there wasn't ANY 2-man lineup that the Kings used that was better, stats-wise than Omri+Boogie!
Two-man lineup

does this feel like 2 struggling companies where one had to fold for the other to succeed?

You've been one of the bigger believers in Gentry's system, how does Cousins fit? Is Gentry going to have to change anything from 7 seconds or less, or is Cousins going to give Gentry new inspiration?

You believed in Gentry's system too slow, what's your take on how the Twin Towers fit what Gentry wants to do?

i don't think i've ever seen them run a system with 2 mobile offensive-minded bigs before. i'll have to go think about that

and i think Gentry's personality is the most important factor. Boogie will not be feuding with Gentry b/c Gentry is the biggest players' coach in the NBA (i just made a post about that in another thread). now will Boogie possibly abuse this? yes.

all that i know is that we have 2 big men who can move effortlessly, handle the ball, pass, and shoot. that's going to be fun as frick to watch

Boogie is a more accomplished passer than AD. It's pretty exciting. Our high low game is pretty interchangeable right now.

Best thing about the fit is that cousins doesn't lose all that he gives on offense by being a trash can on D like some of the rumored Cs. Some metrics have him as a plus defender over past few seasons.

All I got to say is that Demps better be able to sign Cousins to an extension to make this really work!!

Reading the rumors yesterday I didn't think there was actually a chance this could happen.

Wow.

Well done Demps.

like slow pointed out, we gave up so little even if this fails we didn't lose much. This was a shot they absolutely had to take.

Demps was down 0-2 in the bottom of the 9th and just jacked one out of the park. That may not even due the rarity of this service, maybe this is more like jacking up a shot from the opposite end of the floor to take a game into OT.
