Hield and two firsts is such an embarrassingly bad offer for cousins. Having trouble believing the Kings are dumb enough to even consider it

We get a top 3 pick. We go for Paul George.

2017 top 3 pick (whoever they want), an unprotected 2018 pick, and whatever filler needed.

Well, we're doing something. That's pretty obvious.

Who's offering more? Can't the Kings offer Cousins the new DPE as soon as this offseason? I think they can. If they don't want to commit to that then it's time to trade him and the top 3 trade partners in terms of assets and bidding up the price are probably out.

Any deal has to not involve holiday for this to be good-great.

Like I said before, I love buddy. I want to watch him develop because we've been stripped of watching that. Getting another star, I'll be more than happy to say bye.

ETA the other teams who can make better offers IMHO are Lakers (ingram/russell/1sts), Celtics (Brooklyns pick/brown/crowder/Bradley), 76ers (Embiid/Okafor/simmons/noel/1st

There has to be more but I don't think teams realistically give up quality talent for cousins. Minnesota have kat so they don't need a center. Phoenix does have booker but will they give up the picks? I don't think so.

Cousins is from Mobile. Closest team to there is the Pels. He's coming home!

Dell is like the guy going up to every hot girl in club saying he has 500k car right now. if he strikes out, I think he gets fired. If he scores, well, we might have ourselves a ball club

Had a guy on my senior trip to Florida.......he asked 100 girls to screw, he got slapped 93 times....that taught me something....

He got more arse than anybody else....just a guy that could take no for an answer and kept on ticking...

They definitely could outbid the Pels and Walton is an interesting coach for Cousins. I don't think he'd be scared.

It probably doesn't happen, but they are trying. They are doing whatever it takes to accomplish two things: Get back to the playoffs ASAP and give Jrue a reason to re-sign. This is their path.

Sources: Kings owner Vivek Ranadive's waffling on long-term commitment to Cousins has opened door to trade talks. He's gone back and forth.

So it's not really dead. At least we'll make the Lakers give up more assets to get him.

Admittedly I haven't/don't keep up with the Lakers, but if they give up this package then what do they have left?

I don't think Boogie is someone that you gut your roster for because then you'd basically be Sacramento.

At least we'd still have AD and (hopefully) Jrue.

The Lakers wouldn't even consider it as it's not what they're trying to do with Walton at the Helm.

Yeah I don't see the lakers trading their young pieces. They are a free agent destination so they can just wait for a big name to sign there. Our offer might not be great, but I really can't think of another team that would be in the market for Cousins if Boston isn't interested.
