Overall Purpose: This position provides assistance to the Director of Basketball Operations in providing statistical analyses of player personnel and coaching efforts.
Responsibilities:
• Assists the Director of Basketball Operations in creating reports on salary cap situations around the league, including all trade implications
• Provides statistical analysis for both personnel and coaching decisions
• Conducts ad hoc research projects
• Provides administrative support for the department
• Run daily errands/tasks for the department
• Other duties as assigned
Criteria/Qualifications:
The Basketball Operations Strategic Analyst will have:
• Ability to effectively communicate using written and verbal skills.
• Strong proficiency in spreadsheet, word processing computer software, use of email and the internet, composing a variety of business documents, gathering and compiling data.
• Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented.
• College degree preferred with emphasis in finance, math, or statistics.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
