Yeah, it makes no sense. This roster is full of hard working journeyman for whom doing the little things is supposed to be 2nd nature and how they've stuck in the league.

I'm not as worried now that Asik seems to be earning more minutes. AD has played sparingly and Frazier and Buddy played more than anyone else. If Baby Thibs was properly credited with laying the foundation for the Warriors and Celtics defense, the Pelicans will be alright. If he's a charlatan, he'll be following Gentry out the door.

I noted this earlier in the season too and it's a little hard to wrap your brain around that Asik leads to both the fastest play and best defense. Faster than AD or Jones at center? I guess it's the rebounding. Possessions actually end when Asik's in the game.
