A number of the New Orleans Pelicans are currently in the state of California, and more importantly, several of the players have been seen working out together on social media.

Alexis Ajinca and Terrence Jones have spent time on a track under the watchful supervision of the team’s head strength coach, Jason Sumerlin.

In addition, there exists video of Ajinca and Quincy Pondexter working together on a basketball court. In particular, be sure to pay attention to how well QPon seems to be moving, both making solid cuts and showing some bursts of speed.

Of all the X-Factors coming into this season, Jones may be the biggest one.

If Jones is our X factor we are fuvked. The talent evaluation of this fan base is horrible Jones sucks. He was signed because he's AD's pal. The biggest dependent on having a good season is coaching. Gentry wanted fit over talent so now he has his team a bunch of low talented good fitting parts. No one outside of Jrue is a shot creator so he will need a play for every scenario. Second is Hill to see if he can live up to the couple good games he had with the pacers.

Buddy was on UCLA's campus 2 days ago, so it's probably safe to assume he's working out with the team, too.

Now shut the frick up and sit the frick down. As usual, you go out on a limb and look like the absolute fricking moron you are when it comes to basketball.

Edit: it's chippy but when you call people out the board on their opinions and suck as much as you do, you earn it.

BTW, Jones' injury riddled 2015 campaign wasn't that bad either. He played like shite last year, but he's potentially the perfect compliment to Davis and unlike some of the other signees, comes on a Vet Min Deal and has a past record to get excited about.

Tim Frazier also is a shot creator, as broken down by BSS and TBW. They credit him as being an even better improviser than Jrue in his limited minutes last year. Managing to sneak him in was a damn fine snag and was one of the necessary signings in the offseason.

Also, Gentry wah wah wah. Broken record dude.

You very well may be right, and that's why I call Jones my X-Factor. He is the only stretch 4 on the roster that is capable of being a proper complimentary 4 next to Davis at the 5. Cunningham is just not that good. Jones may be done. He played like crap last year. I'm just hoping we get the earlier versions and aren't relying on DC and Solo to guard legit 4s/5s in this league.

Frazier is playing and getting those back up 1 minutes (10 minutes or so). Rightfully so if last year was any indication of his talents.

I mean you really cherry picked what I said. There are other "stretch 4s". Jones is the only one I see with the potential to lighten the load off Davis on the boards and on defense. He weighs 250 pounds and has potential to bang a little with the 5s. Remember how often Anderson got stuck out on the C island last year? It was a disaster. DC and Hill can't guard 5s. If we get 2013-14 TJ back, this team doesn't have that glaring hole that I see at the 4-5 spots. That is, the other 30-35 minutes going to the 4/5s after Asik sits down. We're more than fine depth wise 1-3 all of a sudden with some very smooth signings and Hield.
