I don't think it was some 2-big design that Dell had been trying for. It's just who was obtainable.

Ok. Still a matchup problem potentially for GS

AD and Cousins are like 6th on the list of duos in the west who scare GS

All the others except SA are just poor man's version of their team.

If the Pels had a good roster around them I think they would be the pair that could give GSW some issues.

But the Pels don't.

Of course. You're taking a Paul George or Jim butler, sure

GS still has curry klay Durant, who we have no chance to defend. Durant dray McGee do enough against our big 2. They will trade 2s for 3s all game long. We still don't have a knockdown shooter. We aren't in there galaxy right now

I mean, it's really a big 4. and all they really need is curry and Durant to have the top duo in the L. Dray and klay are lagniappe

We can probably say the same thing about every team with maybe 3-4 teams max. And that's being generous.

Forget about Golden State, we need to forcus on the other 7-8 teams in front of us. Once we become a solidified playoffs team, then that's the time to focus and worry about how to shape the roster to compete with Golden State. We're still miles away at this point.

I don't like the reality of it but you're absolutely right. I remember watching the conference finals last year and just thinking to myself that the thunder were dominating every aspect of the game except three point shooting, which was ultimately the difference. But you know, the NBA is getting what they wanted when they began their freedom of moment campaign. If defenders could be more physical, scoring would probably go down, but I think the game would be more entertaining.

It wasn't. Boogie was there for taking, and that's a move you make 10/10 times. They just have to figure out ways to make it work

I'm sure Mike Budenholzer will be looking to get out of Atlanta.

No duo is going to scare GS since they have 4-5 elite level players. Basically every other team has like 2-3.

If refs call it fair AD and Cousins have the ability to control a game. They should be able to put opponents into horrible foul trouble opening up the game. They are also athletic and dominant enough to not be run off the court by small ball lineups.

The fact that OKC had KD, Russ, and Harden in the same roster still blows me away

Not to mention Ibaka when he actually played defense
