But will you answer my question?
The same reason why people make "fire Monty" threads...something to talk about in such a dismal season. Once the team starts winning and the fairweathers show up we will move on to something new to bitch about.

But in New Orleans, a playoff team led by a top 5 NBA superstar could never crack the top 15 in attendance.
If you are looking at Raw number, then the smaller Arenas in the NBA have to fall near the bottom of the NBA. The NBA and anyone that knows how to count realizes that when you have 30 things of different sizes, then one of them will be the smallest.
The NBA signed off on the New Orleans Arena in 2002, 2007, and 2012. I think they are just fine with an Arena than sells out at just over 17k. With the renovations, they are getting what they want in an Arena going forward, which sets it apart from something like Key Arena.
If you consider this fact that has been true since 2002 to be news, then I'm sure it's just a symptom of your mental condition.
Still, it does not make this news.

Most teams have much larger arenas that can hold thousands more fans than the Nola Arena. You'd have to look at % of capacity filled. But I doubt you comprehend basic logic or reasoning skills to understand my point.

Good point, Hornets are still bottom 4 in the league.. LINK ..
Weird that the Clippers have sold more than the Lakers.. How did that happen?

Oh we know been low this year. But he was responding to his complaint even when 2 seed with Paul we couldn't crack top 15 in attendance.
We have I think 3 or 4th smallest arena in nba so no we didn't crack it

I checked on Wiki and we have the smallest, by capacity (LINK ) at only 17,188. The Kings are 2nd, so maybe there isn't much of a point to the whole total attendance numbers. Although, the % numbers are somewhat telling..

That at least measures results compared to expectations during the good times. During the bad, it just tells you that
1) this is a bad time
2) NBA fans aren't numerous enough not to need sub-fans

People like to argue and use the silly excuse of "but we have the second smallest arena! It's the percentage that counts!". Yet completely turn the other cheek to the fact that New Orleans has the cheapest ticket prices in the NBA (usually in the bottom 2 or 3, if not the cheapest).
So not only is the overall attendance horrible, but the cash flow is much lower as well. The Hornets have only had 1 or 2 break even/profitable years since being in New Orleans. They usually lose millions each year. That is why attendance matters.

To paraphrase Weebie: words that are in posts that make sense appearing in a post thst doesn't because it ignores the main points.
VOR... I'd like to buy you 1% of your intake tonight... so a beer.

The team has other sources of revenue besides ticket prices. I think they get a portion of concessions (other teams might not get that). I think when the NBA owned the Hornets, I heard they were middle of the pack in the NBA in corporate sponsorships. They could have a streeamlined/cheaper front office since they share services with the Saints. I think they also get a huge tax break from the state to stay here. If other states have higher income tax rates than us, our owner has lower income tax expense to keep them here vs. owning them in other locations.
