re: OKC matchups
you'd rather DC on Carmelo than Davis?
Paul george will eat up anyone the pels have, Davis included

I'd rather holiday on rustle, hide rondo on roberson, Miller on george and Davis on anthony...cousins can keep Adams off the boards. if george beats you so be it

re: OKC matchups
i'd try Davis on Roberson as a rover first. Holiday on George, Rondo on Westbrook, Cunningham on Melo. not wild about those 3 matchups at all, but maybe Davis can play way off Roberson and cause some problems.

i just dont think Miller's offense will be good enough to really matter. teams will load up on Davis/Cousins whether it's Cunningham or Miller. the Pels won't outscore that OKC lineup, so i'd prefer the guy who will play better defense. but maybe Miller has improved enough to overtake Cunningham since i last saw him

re: OKC matchups
The Thunder are going to be just like the old Thunder. Can't work together and end up just playing hero ball. Westbrook/George/Melo aren't Westbrook/Durant/Harden or even close.

Well, they say that A.D. has been putting in the work on perimeter D.

re: OKC matchups

The biggest thing with the small ball lineup is not our defense, but our offense. I think we will be capable of guarding the small balls b/c of AD, and also b/c of the ability of guys like Jrue and Allen being able to guard multiple positions. If Cousins got quicker with the weight loss, and can put up a fight on the perimeter when needed, we'll be more than fine.

If we don't take advantage of a 6'8" or less guy guarding AD, that's why we won't succeed. Even if you tell me that AD's isnt' a good post player, then run some big to big picks off the ball and get that smaller guy on Cousins. I know he will destroy smaller guys in the paint. I will always revert back to the Houston game were Ariza guarded AD almost all game, and AD farted around the perimeter all game. If you can't take advantage of that matchup, then we will struggle against the good small ball teams biggly.
