Okc going after Terrence jones

Keep hearing they're the front runner but haven't heard any potential trades. Anyone have an idea of what they could give us?

He's shooting 29% from 3 this year, not sure what that's about but it hasn't been awesome.

He also plays no D whatsoever. I'd set my sights elsewhere.

I don't think Jones will net is a player directly. It sounds like the most likely way it plays out is he goes somewhere for a second, cash, etc and the Pels use the exception to get a guy
So for instance, they can do two separate trades where Pels get cash and pick from OKC for Jones and then Pels get Morrow for a fake 2nd

He's an expiring shooter that we're able to get ajinca off our hands in my deal proposed.

I know our depths and assets are limited, but like others said, Morrow has not been good at all lately (shooting or defensively). I would hope we can net a player with at least one positive skill set, but I won't set my hope too high.

Hmmm, you think we use the TPE this quickly? I was kind of hoping they would hold onto it for when we absolutely need it.

Keeping Jones isn't an option. He wants out because he's in a contract year and knows he won't get nearly as many showcase minutes now.

Me too, for that haul. I think he and Donatas are the perfect relief for AD/Boogie.
However, they are doing this as a favor for TJ and his agent, who is also Boogie's Agent. He wants playing time and they want to find him a team that will give him some.
Might pay off down the line.

Seriously, a team in need of shooting would be unloading him and not for a shooter. Think about that. In addition to not playing well on offense this year, he is horrible defensively.

I don't see us getting Collison.
The way I'm reading things is that Collison is one of those "good for the locker room" guys they won't part with to do a rental on Jones.
Morrow OTOH is redundant for them because they have a young guy eating into his minutes and they would send him someplace where he would have a chance to play.

It would be nice for whoever comes back in our future trades to have some type of rights to let us go over the cap to sign in the offseason. What is the point in bringing in guys who we can't keep long term.

deal with the Cavs for Jordan McRae/Minny 2nd makes sense for both teams IMO.
