ESPN sources say DeAndre Jordan is on verge of accepting Mavs' four-year, $80M+ max offer. Dallas firmly in lead and decision likely today

Good news for the Pels. Clips will fall back in a big way and Jordan doesn't help Dallas that much IMO

So far:
Portland got worse
LAC is a crapshoot -DJ +Stephenson
Dallas got potentially better (DJ > Chandler, Matthews if healthy > Ellis)
We stayed the same

AD is a year better. Pels get better by virtue of that.

Let me ask the "we stayed the same" people this:
Let's say we had the same team we have now for all 82 games last year, and even average injury luck. Not great, but average.
What would our 82 game record have been? For reference, if it helps, we were 27-18 after adding Q-Pon. 18-10 after Cole trade.
So, your best guess - What would our record have been with this team for 82 games and average health?

Free agent Richard Jefferson will receive a one-year, veteran's minimum deal from the Mavs, sources tell Yahoo./quote]

We'd be 50+ wins if everyone was healthy.
AD will be AD, Tyreke will improve efficiency, Jrue will stay healthy, and EG keeps up his shooting, but we are still deficient 15-20mins a game at the 3 position.
We need to figure something out this year or next.

Probably pick up another 3-7 wins if healthy.
Do you think we pick up this new system right away? If it takes 4-6 weeks to get in the groove, that makes the playoffs less certain, especially if Jrue isn't healthy for half the year again.

48-50 wins. We are good team.
What's wrong with wanting to get better?

Hibbert, Jordan, Ellis massive sign and trade coming?
Speculation that makes sense for all parties involved. Clippers should have cap space next year, a S&T for expiring Hibbert makes more sense than giving up Crawford and filler to S&T for a long term deal on Koufos.

Yeah, there goes the decline of the Clippers
Also, apparently KJ McDaniels just followed the Pelicans on twitter.

I don't know how accurate this is as an indicator but I want to say I remember a high correlation in the few instances I've seen it.

I have a feeling houston would match if we did offer him a contract
