amirite? forcing your way out of a city in the douchiest way possible due to lack of success (ownership too but thats besides the point) just to go to another team with way better teammates/coaching and still fail. i can toast to that

But you would all welcome Paul back so idk what's the point of hating on him if you would welcome him back anyways.

that's pretty irrelevant. would i welcome paul back? i guess. but leaving in the manner he did to reach more "success" and not attaining it is satisfying.

I'm sure it's not a popular opinion, but I want to see him do well. He put in his time here and it's not all that surprising that he wanted to move on to a bigger market. Granted I didn't feel this way for the first few years after he left.

Absolutly, but I'm a petty person. Hell, I'm so vindictive I don't even want Austin winning anything due to Papa Doc's nepotism.

Screw CP for the time being. Being classy is overrated.

Yeah. That's a real douche move right there. I can't believe he wanted to get out of a shitty situation with fricked up ownership.

Fact is, had ownership had its shite together, there's a very good chance Paul would have remained in N.O.

We have Paul = We don't have Davis.... so there's that.

i see you missed "ownership too but thats besides the point". the discussion this thread is encouraging is based off his desire to attain success elsewhere. yes, there were other factors in him leaving but that is not being discussed.

For all of the criticism people gave Ariza, I liked the guy. His offense was inconsistent while he was here, but he could lock the frick down on defense.

It'll be AD's league soon, so I don't give a frick.

I'm sorry. For a deluded moment I thought there may be another rational thinker on the board. My bad. Of course. If someone leaves your team, no matter why, they must fail. Got it.
