We already have a better Noel in Davis. Plus we need a big body.

We need a small forward who can create his own shot and has a good jumper not another shot blocker. Besides Noel adds nothing on offense. He is a luxury for most teams unless you already have enough offense from the other four guys on the floor. The Hornets don't. Whom ever the Hornets draft has to have a polished offensive game.

The Hornets have a top 15 offense on the season.

With Gordon, they have a top 10 offense.

Offense is not the problem in New Orleans

If I'm not mistaken they average somewhere around 94 points a game. If they want to be a playoff team that number needs to go up. There is also a lack of consistent scoring from the bench outside of Ryan Anderson. Scoring is a problem as evidenced by the long scoring droughts the team tends to have.

Their ppg average is low because they play at one of the slowest paces in the league. Less possessions means less opportunities to score.

That has the Hornets as 14 on the season in Offensive Effeciency- points scored per 100 possessions

This is a thread I made giving efficiency stats with Gordon on the court.

It is updated to the All-Star break.

No. Many will disagree, but IMO there really is no problem with the offense- especially when Gordon is playing. Does it get stagnant at times? Sure, but what offense doesn't?

The offense is good enough to be in the playoffs this year, the defense is horrendous.
