That'd be nice. I'd be happy with Burke, Saric or Len and I think we have a good shot at one of those guys.

Seems good to me.

Here's hoping it breaks like this.

All things considered, any of these three would be a decent pick for this year and an upgrade to the roster (whether off the bench or starting).

I'd be happy with Burke, Bennett, or McCollum. I really like Bennett if he can play the 3.

Do not want Bennett. Don't need that defensive liability.

Do not want Saric. Not impressed with what I've seen.

Would love Burke and would be extremely happy with Olandipo and satisfied with Len. This is all assuming McLemore, Noel (though I'm not a fan of him either) and Porter go before our pick.

Memphis as part of the Xavier Henry trade, IIRC.

No troll, what don't you like about him?

He's young, a good passer, has length and mobility and is a decent scorer and rebounder. He was MVP of the European games and lead his team to a gold medal. He was also the MVP of the 2010 Europe U-16 games and lead in scoring & rebounding and got a gold medal there too. In 2011 he was the Nike International Junior Tournament MVP as well.

Actually, the more I look at him the more I like him.

Philly ended up with it, but it was part of that trade

Pelicans got Vasquez and Henry
Memphis got Speights and QPon
Philly got our 2nd and Memphis' 2nd

Would you take on one year of Shawn Marion to get him? Word is Dallas is looking to use their 1st to free up cap space which means they hope it will let them dump Marion.

Maybe it was just the few videos I saw of him, but was not impressed with much other than his hustle and passing...and ball-handling for someone his size. I think he'll get pushed around a lot and doesn't have the body to fill out too much more. His shot was average at best and he really needs to work on that (seemed very flat, though I suppose this is fixable). And lastly I think his on ball defense is a liability. He was able to recover on getting blown past in the vids I saw b/c of his length and the level of competition he was playing against, but that won't be the case in the NBA.

So to sum up what I don't like: shooting, on-ball defense, and lack of strength.

I'll check out some more vids if you're willing to post some that you think show just how much of an amateur I really am at being an NBA scout.

Wouldn't someone taking on Marion mean Dallas could offer CP3 and Dwight near max deals?

I'm not a fan of drafting Euro players. It seems like so many of them do not work out well. I know the same is for all players, but it seems like a much higher percentage of Euro players don't work out.

Do you think he would be a defensive liability against 4's or against 3's?
