I hope we get top 3 but I think as a fit, gimme Jackson over Ball. His dad is gonna be a PR nightmare

Fultz or Jackson would be great fits. However, my guess is that if we pull a rabbit out of a hat tonight, the pick gets moved. Does the NBA owe us any favors tonight? I have this vision of the top 3 being Lakers, Celtics and Knicks. I think the NBA wants the Lakers to be relevant again.

I want Josh Jackson the player, but he's a POS off the court. I'd rather put up with Lavar Ball than that.

We bailed their SJW arse out of a PR nightmare with the All Star Game.

That should be worth the #2 pick.

Are you kidding me? Boogie + Lavar = PR goldmine. Pels would get maximum exposure and gain tons of contrarian fans.

If the Mavericks, Pelicans, and one of the Hornets, Pistons, Nuggets, or Heat all leap into the top three, the Kings wouldn’t get New Orleans’ pick and would fall to No. 11 overall, which would mean giving their own pick to the Bulls.

Instead of walking away with two top-10 picks and a bright future, the Kings would spend the next month scouting second round prospects. Luckily for Sacramento, the odds of this happening are incredibly small. Never before have three low-odds teams jumped into the top three.

But if it could happen to anyone, it’d be the Kings.

How many top picks do they need? They have drafted two #2 overall picks and a mid lottery pick the last three drafts.

I would prefer Tatum over Jackson. In fact, if by some miracle the Pels got #1, I'd be down with trading down for Philly's picks if they agreed to take on Asik and QPon. Tatum + Fox + a near MLE equivalent TPE = Faptown.

I guess I had forgotten that good luck for us means bad luck for the Kings. I now feel a lot better about our chances.

I came up with an interesting idea that may be attainable for the Pelicans.

What if we swapped Asik+Pondexter for Brandon Knight?

Knight is still 25, and has shown he can play at a high level. While his salary is high, it only cost about 3m more than Asik on average.

Now I am not saying either side would do it, I am kind of just spit-balling ideas

If you think about it, each one of our number combinations has as good of a shot at winning as any other singular number combination.
