I get that, I do. Idk what the reasoning was and it is a valid argument to make but I guess it's just how the game went ya know?
Pretty much this.

i wouldn't be surprised if maybe they're just still limiting him a bit... not saying that's the reason, but it's a possibility. just having him out there makes a big difference.

Memphis has the number 1 defensive rating- 99 points per 100 possesions- in the league. The Hornets had a 108 Offensive Rating- again points per 100 possessions- for the game tonight according to realgm.com

Whatever the game plan was, it worked pretty goddamn well.

The guy is an all-NBA defensive player so maybe we used Gordon to draw him away from the action, but I would not have let Vasquez shoot as much as he did; I admit he his done Ok, but he is not that good of a player.

I would be cool if they keep limiting until the last month of the season. He has been forced out of games three times this year – two because of ankles. There is no point in risking a third time by playing him 35+ minutes a game.
Let him get through his first NBA season in one piece (give 20-25mpg or so) and let him enter his second year with a more mature body and more experience. I want everyone to be healthy next year because I want to atleast make a push for a 8-5 seed and that's tough when you don't have your best players healthy, case and point: this season.
ETA: Thought you were talking about Davis for some reason. NVM.

I'm wit' ya on this one, I think. I especially think this kid needs to grow into that frame of his. He's going to be special. Don't frick him up.

On a side note, Gordon's lack of offensive touches didn't effect his defense in the least.
4 steals and 2 blocks tonight.

Luck, again.
He clearly didn't want to be on the court tonight.
Post game he said Memphis was a very good city.
