Odd that we did not just re-sign him for the rest of the season. He was playing well and there is only about 3 weeks left in the season.

This FO is on drugs. Constantly sign guys trying to prove it (and they do prove it) only to let them go. Not only are they helping us win games while they are here thus screwing up the tank, but they're also taking minutes away from the players we already have under contract through next season.

The way this FO is ran has to raise eyebrows in the national media but it never has, and I don't think it ever will.

Agreed. Dude has been pretty good, all I can guess is my qpon is closer to coming back and maybe they have someone else to come in?

I don't think Selden was anything remotely special. Maybe this means Casspi is close to back.

Yeah, instead of his ETA being at infinity, it has now been downgraded to 55 years.

I hope this means they bring back Lance and Casspi both.

Honest question - if we somehow get into the playoffs would either player be eligible to play? I thought players signed after March 1 aren't playoff eligible?

QPon is an old myth, it never existed.

It doesn't because on the national level you realize these are meaningless transactions

But when a fan has incentive to want to hate on everything the FO does, they make a big deal out of something like this that truly doesn't matter.

Casspi will likely be back, and even if he isn't, Crawford slides into the starting 2, or Moore goes back. Or Lance comes back.

Guy was a ghost for a couple games, hits a few shots last night against a team playing zero D, and now all of a sudden we gotta make a big deal out of him leaving.

It's exhausting.

Yeah i don't care if he stayed or left. Wouldn't have been here long term regardless.

Or you guys can stop being dumb and overreacting to nothing. Instead, save the energy for quality takes on things that are blatantly foolish.

It's the Boy Who Cried Wolf if you overreact to every little meaningless thing.

Meh I get the reason for posting it since it is news. I also get the discussion in wondering what the next move is, but yeah it's a bit ridiculous to call the front office incompetent based on this particular move that'll be forgotten about months from now. There are other, bigger moves you can point to for that argument. Selden not being re-signed will mean absolutely zero in the grand scheme.

Why do you care what fans think. You are not a fan so you would not understand.

With regards to Selden, not a huge loss. However, with only 3 weeks left to the season, seemed like someone that they might want to get into camp next season to see if he can be an asset off the bench. With the other open spot, hoping Casspi comes back.
