No. Most of the board thought this was a horrible signing.

IIRC, there were more that were OK with it than against. I wasn't psyched, but I thought that he could give us a great offense.

I thought it was more 35-40% for and 65-60% against. I wasn't that excited. I was okay with Monty leaving, but I'd have been okay if he stayed after making the playoffs.

I still contend that Tim Floyd would've been a better signing .

No, thought it was a terrible hire then and still believe it.

Pelicans need to completely clean house. I'm talking everybody. Even the PA announcer. Gotta show you're completely turning the page. Y'all need to hire an entire analytics staff to work closely with a new GM. A forward-thinking GM. Y'all need to trade everyone except for a few players and pick up undervalued players and picks. Y'all need assets to build the team. Fire the entire coaching staff at the end of the season. I mean y'all need to go scorched earth and make some moves because the franchise is just spinning it's tires.

I'm sure most of you agree with that. Why doesn't the organization see it? I mean y'all already got your superstar player. Y'all would be way ahead of the game when doing a rebuild.

Because the organization is more concerned about what's going on across the street.

That's a problem too. Why are the Saints and Pelicans being run by the same people?

Because Tom Benson is old.

Owner will be 90 in July. Seems as though the team will be in win-now mode until there is a different owner or if AD leaves before that
