He's still got the cornrows we saw a few weeks back.

The Big Easy's Big 4. Apparently King Cake Baby is running around playing Roshambo with people.

Rondo looks jacked. Jrue looks funny with the hair cut
Posted on 9/25/17 at 7:04 pm to TigerBehindEnemyLines
Rondo has the arms and hands of someone 6 inches taller than him.

Anyone play 2k? AD/DC are unstoppable inside, but getting 3s is incredibly difficult lol. I traded Asik and a pick for Robert Covington then flipped Hill and a 2nd for Dedmon. If only things were that easy

I flipped solo and Tony Allen and Ian Clark for tj warren and Devin booker. #2kTradeRape

Those jerseys are night and day. Why the hell couldn't Adidas do that?
Posted on 9/25/17 at 8:39 pm to JabarkusRussell
Because adidas bro. I’m interested to see what all they will release on Friday for merchandise shop.

There's always that one guy who thinks it's funny to run around cup-checking everyone. This is the result. Nobody can let their guard down.
Readying themselves for CP3 in the division!

Video clips of the interviews LINK /
I'm sure if I go back to their prior teams media days it's probably not much different but I thought Rondo and Cousins said everything you'd want them to say and both seemed serious and bought in which are 2 of the biggest x-factors on how this season will go. I especially liked what I heard from Rondo. Even if he's just Tim Frazier on the court I think his presence in the locker room is going to help guys be better. Here are some quotes from Rondo's interview, and before his interview started he basically told Boogie his time was up and rushed him off the stage so you can tell they have a close relationship and Rondo is starting to fill the leadership void that has been empty since Monty left.

quote:
I wanted to come here to compete for a championship...there are only a few amount of teams that are able to do that at this particular time...I felt like with the 2 best bigs in the game it was a great opportunity.
Offense for us isn't a big issue (because of AD/DC/Jrue) I'm going to try to preach and what I'm going to try to bring to this team is a defensive mentality that we have to have night in and night out. We're not going to out shoot Golden State, no team will. It won't be offense why we beat those particular teams, it's going to be our defense.
On Cousins
quote:
What he brings to the table every night is unmatched and I haven't played with a guy like that since Kevin Garnett. Anthony and Cuz are 2 different players personality wise but they can both dominate the game on both ends of the floor in 4 or 5 different categories every night, so I'm looking forward to getting to know Anthony and what gets him going but I know Cuz and I know what he's going to bring every night.
On the comparison he made of Boogie to KG
He wants to bite your head off every night. He's going to try go to destroy his opponent, he's not going to back down from anyone, he puts the fear in a lot of guys in this league and [chuckles a bit] I mean I love it!
quote:
Realistically the last couple of teams I played for I couldn't honestly say I was realistically going to compete for a championship, but like I said, I think we have the right DNA we have the right make up, we have a lot of guys that haven't won that are hungry, we have a couple of guys with experience that have won, myself, Tony Allen, Ian Clark that's going to bring our leadership and our experience of what we've experienced and how we won...I think we have the formula I think we all have to buy in and be on one page and let Coach Gentry do the rest.
I think we're a one of a kind team. A lot of people worry about the different things that we don't do, but what we do great in I think we'll be successful in.
Film doesn't lie. When you watch film on yourself, it's hard to watch but at the end of the day you're able to learn and critique yourself and get better. The best teacher for me and it always has been is film and that's what I want to bring to this team and Darren Erman does a great job already watching a lot of defensive clips but I want to be able to teach the guys as in Demarcus and AD how to break down the game, how to do all the intangibles how to break down the game without scoring the basketball, how to dissect their game and then make their team better around them.

He's been experimenting with posting "articles" on Facebook. Just follow him on twitter for those that want to read his thoughts.

Well, it sounds like he's either starting a new venture or joining one. Love his stuff, so curious to see where he ends up. He'll still be doing Locked on Pels.

The whole team should rock the headband this season
Posted on 9/27/17 at 2:21 pm to TigerinATL
from the interviews ive seen and read about, this team sounds like they are serious about winning and are willing to do what is necessary to win.
There's a clip of Charles Barkley that i saw not too long ago where he said the year they went to the finals in Phoenix, everyone on the team treated the season as business, and everyone was willing to do what was necessary for the team to succeed. He said that offseason after the finals loss to the Bulls, bench guys started bitching about not making enough money and not getting enough playing time, getting involved with too much off the court and he felt they lost the approach they had the season before and he knew they had no chance at getting back to the finals. They lost in the 2nd round the next two years. the year they made the finals, the whole team put winning first, and their were no individuals, is basically what he said. year after that the team turned into a bunch of individuals.
we've added some veteran leaders who've made deep playoff runs and have been around teams that know how a team needs to operate to succeed. Mix that with some guys that are tired of losing and willing to do what is necessary to win, and i think we have a good recipe for success. I don't expect that great success this year, but hopefully we can do well this year, not lose the fire, and piggy back that emotion and want into next season and start really making some noise.
