With Erman's prior Boston connections, does anyone else think this makes Crowder the most realistic possibility at wing?

the time to get crowder was last year when Dallas basically gave him away
I'd rather dell do some deep digging and uncover another one
Boston having struck swinging in the draft I think makes it more likely they match any crowder offer anyway

bass would be gettable though

I would definitely agree with you last week, but the Celtics repeated recent attempts for wing help has me rethinking Crowder as a target. I think we can all agree that he is least a more realistic possibility than he was 72 hours ago.

How is KO'Q regarded defensively?

I always liked his game. I still think he can be a starter in this league. Would like as a backup

maybe so
though I don't think it was so much them looking for wing help as for "star" help...at some point they've got to cash in on a real player in this league and drafting in the teens isn't going to get it done

they should have tanked and they know it. I just don't get what they are doing...they should have cashed Avery Bradley out, drafted Giannis when he was there, etc. I guess brad Stevens is just too good a coach

in any event what they were offering was junk and the teams above them knew it. so maybe they do blow it up and don't match crowder

we will see
I'd love to get him

Pretty solid rim protector from what I've read.

He's certainly not bad defensively.

ETA: was 18th out of 94 in RPM for PFs

Graded out positively on a lot of metrics. He's well liked in the analytic community.

Bingo. It the Celtics are in a weird situation because they played too good too early. Thank god the season we played hard down the stretch we were "rewarded" with AD.

Brewer and Seraphin only 2 of those I like enough to pull the trigger.

plus it's a lot harder to lose games in the east
in the west you can play hard and still lose
you do that in the east and you wind up the 8th seed whether you want it or not

The more I think about it the more I'd like to roll the dice with KJ. Super athlete, young, great D, and would fly up and down the court in AG's system.

I don't know his exact deadline - whether it is tonight or tomorrow. Most guys are tonight or earlier. But it could be tomorrow
