Do we have room or the funds? Seems like the type of big man that would fit Gentry's style. He's a big that can run and protect the rim. Take some defensive pressure off AD.

He's definitely not better than Asik. Not even close, but let's not let the truth stop us from making statements

LOL..you know it is bad when you would rather the big slow white guy that cannot catch the ball over what on paper should be a much better player in Magee.

And you know it's bad when you only value one trait, as opposed to the 5-10 other areas where the player you say sucks clearly is better than the one you prefer. It's also bad when you can't spell the name of the guy you are arguing for.

As our 3rd string center on a minimum contract and playing 5-7 minutes a game at most? Why the hell not.

Because he's a low BBall IQ idiot that bounces around because no one wants him on their team.

Well for him to bounce around so much also means that teams do show interest. If he was totally worthless he wouldn't be bouncing around in the first place. He would be years removed from the league and playing overseas.

Hes had a million stops and looked worse each time.

Even if the oppurtunity cost was nothing at all, id argue thats worth it to not bring him in

I want to start logging the "Why not, couldn't hurt?" Argument on this board. If we signed every guy that this argument was used for, we would have 119 guys on the roster.

Which, by the way, isn't legal

Indicative of how weak the roster is

No, it shows how blindly optimistic people are about the unknown and never consider that, yes, there could be downsides to signing guys - even, if it's for the minimum

If you had to chose between Magee and Sanders as your 3rd string minimum contract, end of bench guy who would you take? I would go with sanders honestly. Think he has more potential, if the word "potential" is allowed to be used in this case.
