Exactly. Perfect example of how JVG was debating. That was by far the worst thing about what he was saying. It's one of those things where you can't argue against him because technically he isn't wrong.
Lowe would make great points, then JVG's comeback was always something like, "but you don't know for a fact the fired coach wouldn't have done the same", or "you can't prove Brooks playing Perkins less would have changed the outcome of anything".
It's like if someone gets really drunk, drives, and gets in an accident. You tell them they shouldn't be drinking and driving, and the response would be, "you can't say I wouldn't have wrecked if I was sober". Technically, that's the truth. People who debate this way should be punched in the face.
