Pels need more national attention. I think this win can start a nice PR push and make them writers take notice about the truth coming their way.

Until we lose to a sub-par eastern team of course.

I saw the end of the show with the 1 minute run down where they speak on each topic for about 5 seconds. He did not say that the Hawks would roll, but that they were on a roll. Did not say anything close to the Pels were crazy to think they have a chance. WOW!

They are getting quite a bit of attention.

-top post on reddit NBA
-plenty of coverage on ESPN/Sportscenter
-i just heard them mention how AD is a legit superstar and that the Pels are on a roll right now and are becoming a force in the west on first take

Keep winning and everyone will start to notice. AD is blowing up.

If we follow this up with a sweep of the Thunder they'll definitely notice. Some of the national guys seem to think there's a 2 team race for the 8 seed between Phoenix and OKC.

Wilbon didn't do his homework as usual. Hawks were playing a back to back on the road and Pels had 2 days rest. You could see this one coming. Wilbon is often unprepared, surprised he still has a spot on TV

deadspin

quote:

Anthony Davis isn't a normal power forward, though, the same way the Hawks aren't a normal team. He can chew up all those matchup problems, spit them back in the Hawks' faces, and then go dunk on somebody's head on the other end.

That's what made last night's game so fulfilling—it was a clash between the two forces in the NBA that show no weaknesses, have no cracks to exploit. This time, Davis's individual brilliance won out over the Hawks' shared consciousness, and it's a battle I wish we could watch every night.
