The fact that Holiday and Evans both shined last night gives another case in point that the team is coming together as we all hoped it would. Asik is doing what he does and certainly is earning his money.

The contribution from these key core guys is important in giving AD the confidence that he doesn't have to carry this team every game and takes a ton of pressure off his shoulders (this is the type of pressure that lead LJ to leave Cleveland and Love the Timberwolves). AD seems to be a level headed guy but no one wants the entire success or failure of a franchise hanging over their heads.

The chemistry on this team is getting better with each game and that bodes well for the team...in success on the court and giving AD solid proof that there is a commitment to win here and progress in that direction.

We should have a real playoff contender this year as most of us thought. How far they go depends on how much they grow as a team.

well tough bc he doesn't exactly have a choice in the matter... this team only goes as far as it can if AD takes it by the balls and leads them...

now CP3 broke out as a leader in his third season but you could sense it coming

In the grand scheme of things, it really doesn't.

I don't think there is any question that Davis is the leader of the team. He may not be as in your face about it as CP was, but its evident by the comments in interviews.

We'll disagree on this point.
BTW...Holiday expressed the same sediments that I expressed here in an interview after the game last night..

I agree with PCT. These kinds of games are anomalies. Good to get the W, but there isn't really anything to take away from this game.

Long term I don't think there will be any magical growth that occurs from this game, but in a long season laughers like these are good for team moral and sharing the ball.

With Holiday emerging as great player not only with his play but of his leadership. He's showing a better balance between taking over and becoming a scorer, and being a facilitator. Davis is the best in the business. This team has the potential to be great. If role players like Evans and Anderson can play at a high level this team will win a playoff series

sometimes, just having fun and seeing the ball go thru the hoop can do wonders for a teams confidence

the grind and stress of 41 road games and the western conf bloodbath takes it's toll. I think a night like last night definitely can have a carryover effect. It does not mean anything about the status of the team however... Twolves are barely functional

Last night was much more about Minnesota than anything else. Very similar to the Philly games last year.
