If you want to compare their mentalities and work ethic, i'm good with that. Their games are not alike, and their athleticism is nothing alike.
Buddy will never look anything like this athletically, or 80% of it.
I don't think we are going to see 80% of dunking on Yao Ming and Dwight Howard.
I see a Ray Allen type game at best, who was a hard worker and wanted to take the last shot, and the same size as Buddy, but more than likely a Jason Terry/Jamal Crawford type player, with the possibility to be a little better than those two.
Ray was a better athlete, but had his struggles doing anything more than shooting. Wasn't a great dribbler, or one to create his own shot.

Like I said, Bill Walker was a physical specimen on par with almost anybody to come into the league in the last 10 years. But mentally, he was an infant. So, he flamed out.
What's up with you and Bill Walker? You do know he was picked in the middle of the second round, right? He got worse every year in the league and eventually washed out. He never expected to be any good. He was a no talent player than could get hot every ten games. There's more than just physical and mental aspects of the game. They need skill too.

If you don't understand than this game is far more about the mental side than the physical side, then that proves your basketball ignorance
Why didn't you just state this in the OP? I don't think anybody else in this thread has agreed with you too. The only thing Buddy and Kobe have in common is their drive. Nothing else at all. I love Buddy. His hard work shows why he's in the NBA. He worked on his game and matured in College. Props to him and to you guys for picking him.

Cousins could, in theory, he the best player in the league if he had someone like CP3's brain. I can go on and on.
You just said above that no iq players don't last? Cousins has two parts of the three part equation. One of the most skilled players and physically imposing. I like to believe he's smarter than given credit for. He just happens to play for the laughingstock of the league.

But that might be a little too advanced for a Portland fan. Not like you guys ever had a very talented team that imploded because of mental and maturity reasons. Oh wait
You're pathetic. Portland isn't even brought up by me. I could debate this with you but there's really no point if you think Bill Walker just needed the IQ to be the second coming of Kobe.
