Why does the makeup of the of hornets make me think that they are going to have a lakers like team(the ones who won two straight not too long ago). think about it:

Starters:

Vasquez=Fisher
Gordon=Kobe
whoever is drafted/signed at SF=Artest
Davis=Gasol
Lopez=Bynum(without the injuries)

Bench:

Roberts=Farmar
Rivers=Brown
Anderson=Odom

Each one of these hornets players is just about the same type of player that the lakers needed. I have thought on this for a while and I'm thinking that everything is in place for a bright future. Hornets rant, give me your input on this analysis please. Also, don't roast the SF spot, I know it is a problem at that position currently for the hornets right now.

How can you say whoever we sign/draft at the SF is equivalent to MWP?

Vasquez > Harper
Gordon > Jordan
Anderson > Pippen
Davis > Rodman
Lopez > Longley

Kukoc and Kerr would get owned by Maguire and Rivers

Everyone go with your immediate gut reaction on this one, if you overthink it, you'll be more likely to put some sort of bias into your decision. Ready?
Vasquez vs Magic

I don't think Longley even averaged double digits that year but I think the point was made

I'd say there's a solid chance Vasquez doesn't have to retire early due to HIV.

Smiht's genes allow him to only be a distributor of HIV, not a carrier. It's the same gene that puts a pheremone in his sweat that guarantees all surrounding pussies to get wet.
