I don't recall exactly, but what was done after the season? Didn't he have a pin removed?

Damn, so right now Jrue is entering the season on a minute restriction, Asik still has lingering back issues, Ajinca has an achilles issue, and Q-Pon is recovering from his knee procedure. Let's hope these guys are ready to go in October.

Not a big issue yet, but it's not a good sign if you're starting the season with Eric Gordon as one of your healthiest players.

He didn't have a pin, he had a rod with a stabilizing screw. Since the bone and the rod had fused, the stabilizing screw was no longer needed and because it was a possible source of inflammation, they removed the screw. If it weren't for the track record of this organization and this being a multi year injury, I don't think there'd be as much concern with the team taking a cautious approach. But since they long ago forfeited the benefit of the doubt on health issues, it's hard to spin this positively or even neutrally.

Some people have gone all conspiracy theory and said that AD, Asik and Ajinca not playing is all the team being overly cautious rather than having serious injury issues. Call it the Paul George Effect. Considering what was said about Ajinca's injury, that it wasn't too serious and he's not playing at the Pelicans request, there might be something to the conspiracy.

'm just saying if his injury hasn't healed after 5 months rest/rehab than min restriction won't help.

It is so entertaining reading the opinions of ppl that know nothing about the body try to act like orthopedic experts.
