Jrue Holiday's return to the Pelicans is imminent, league sources tell @TheVertical. He's planning to make his season debut next week.

There's a chance that Holiday could play at Orlando on Wednesday, sources say, but an expectation that he'll be back by Friday vs. Portland.

No sources within the Pels =/= No sources about the Pels. Agents talk. The way Woj went off on the team after Monty got fired I can believe that nobody within the organization will talk to Woj. But this thread is about Holiday's return, not some message board squabbling.

I'm sure he was, I just don't want this thread to become what every other thread the past few days has become.

No, I said he has no sources inside the Pels organization dummy. This obviously came from Jrue's agent

And other people had his return coming around this time way before Woj.

Dummy.

Can Jrue play the 2 and let Frazier run the point? I don't think that would be a bad idea.

I think you'll see that some, but Moore is good enough on offense and not a liability on defense. I would expect the 2 deep to look something like this based on what MM has said about the plans when Tyreke returns.

Holiday/Frazier
Moore/Hield
Tyreke/Hill
Jones/Cunningham
AD/Asik

Defensively, it would be. Then, who runs your second unit? Moore?

The only value Frazier has is when the ball is in his hands. Take it out of his hands on most possessions and he is a negative value player

It's so much more than the talent upgrade of one or two guys. This just sets our lineups up so much better. The defensive lineups you can now have with Jrue at the point. Having a true Pg in Frazier now setting Buddy up on the second unit should do him wonders. Can't wait.
