hopefully they hire a young aggressive guy and give the pels some halfway decent coverage in the city's paper of record

kushner is the only good local reporter left and he's part-time at the advocate.

Needed a separate thread and I didn't feel like making it

Like I said, he did a great service for a while and it's fine but time for someone fresh to come in that can write some good stuff for the print version and blog some more in depth stuff.

Without knowing him personally- Reid seemed like a nice guy, but he didn't bring much to the table. It was almost like having Perd Hapley covering the Pelicans.
