I'd be surprised if these picks weren't packaged in another upcoming move.

Well we want to play high pace and he plays at a high pace with limited turnovers and ball stoppage. His problem was shooting, but he knew that and didn't really shoot unless he had to. I just think he was a pretty good piece and I'd rather him running the offense than cole if we have injuries.

I agree
they don't have a D league team to stash second round players in...however before the trade they didn't have a 2016 2nd rounder

I'm really surprised Dell did a deal with sixers though after the holiday mess. Maybe this is a get-back move by colangelo. If it turns out the pels got the sixers' 2016 you'll know it is

I'd be very surprised if Dell didn't exclusively work with Colangelo in this trade.

Boston has phil 2016 2nd rounder

here's what phil has

2016 - To BOS (via MIA); DEN

2017 - Own

so it looks like denvers 2nd next draft and Phil 2nd in 2017
Not too bad

And Philly's 2017 pick will probably be somewhere between 33 and 38. Not a bad return on a last minute FA journeyman.

Yeah, they're both fairly high second rounders. Could conceivably find some talent with those picks but like I said, I doubt we ever use them for anything other than trades.

Pelicans traded a 2015 Second Round Pick for ~$600k. Just bought two for less than $300k.

I was wrong about pels 2016 2nd, they have the "less favorable" of theirs or kings 2nd rounder. so next draft right now they have their 1st, denvers 2nd evidently and the worse of theirs or sac's 2nd

sac's pick is protected 31-55 though, so nevermind
it ain't real

76ers released SG Tony Wroten who's shooting 17% from 3 this year to make room for Ish.

got to admit Dell nailed this
picked up smith day before the season, got good minutes for small money, and sent him out to the team that could have had him for free for assets

sure do wish he'd hit on a big move though

WHAT

This dude was the best Sixer last season and I thought he had a lot of potential. Guess Hinkie thought differently...

Those were mostly empty stats. Dude shot 14.5 times per game to average 17 points. He's not very good at all.

Dell has done a lot of bad shite but Philly overpaid for Ish here. Could be Colangelo sending an "our bad" to Demps for Hinkie being a colossal bag of shite during the Jrue trade.

Or it could be that Colangelo sees the need for a point guard who can actually get the ball to their bigs in advantageous spots on the court so as to, you know, actually develop some of their guys.

They're going to win a couple of extra games because of Ish but it'll be worth it if Ish is able to help them see what they have in their young big men.

I know brah, but it's worth a chance right? The worst that happens is you get a one that turns into an injury prone big man ala Greg Oden.
