This will force EG to be more aggressive, and hopefully put up some numbers that may increase his trade value. Since Jrue went down, he had 23, 27, and 20 (fouled out mid 4th). He has 9 so far thru 1. His explosiveness has returned a bit.

It's gonna be difficult unloading his contract. What is it like 3 years/ 40 something million left? If he keeps performing like he has, it can't hurt.

I just feel like, knowing his injury history and the amount of times he hits the floor per game when driving the rim, Gordon is one awkward fall away from us having a starting backcourt of Brian Roberts and Austin Rivers.

Plus he doesn't play great with Jrue so now he's getting more free reign. It's a long term outlook, but one we should be ok with.

Also giving Rivers and Miller more PT to develop can only help
