What coach would have the skins on the wall to get that kind of power?
We missed out on Thibs.
Only guys I can think of are Cal and JVG.

Well if you subscribe to MM's belief that it's win now and retool, I'm not sure it really matters. Best case for me there would be jvg or cal gm/coach
A perfect world -
move Ferry into Loomis' role, bring in one of the Thunder's top guys (Troy weaver or mike winger, who has ties to ferry). Let them pick a coach - I like Messina like previously mentioned. shite I'd go fletcher and take Becky Hammons at this point. I like nate tibbets, assistant in Portland. Young, offensive mind. GS thought enough of him to try and poach him from Portland. There are tons of former players, not sure which I like though

Your right but if we lock up Jrue and maybe somehow find a way to get another legit starter I think this team is not that far from being a playoff team with the right coach

Our plan should have been to stock draft picks and have a young fun team that peaks at the right time together. Not rookie AD and a bunch of overpaid, oft-injured scrubs.
