It's expiring. You don't have to make a long term commitment to someone who's not a fit

Ariza sucks. He is beyond useless at this point.

Ariza drained a game-winning 3 last year. Just ask the Wizards broadcasters. LINK

As a defensive wing Ariza is pretty good.

He's also significantly overpaid.

Doesn't matter. I'll bet 100 bucks we don't trade for Ariza.

Ariza surrounded by guys who score is a good thing. He's only 8 years into the league. Has some prime years left.

I agree, this is all hypothetical anyway. I'll bet we don't sign Webster either.

Ive said it before, but we dont need to get a longterm fixture at the 3 right now. We just need a guy that is better than Aminu, and is serviceable and weill do his job, play good D, and rebound. He will most likely be the 4th option on offense, so not like we need an offensive guru. There are a couple of guys out there that we could get at a good price and would make us better.

Why is everyone against resigning Aminu as a reserve? He was a rebounding machine at the end of the season which is rare for a SF.

BBS is going through FA SF's and going through their strengths and weaknesses. They make the case for Webster being a good fit.

I didn't lol but I felt the same way. Makes me think Aminu could end up out of our price range.

Jrue, EG, AFA isn't terrible with Tyreke backing all up and getting a ton of minutes. IF, we don't have any injuries.

I'm sure we'd all like better, but it is a substantial upgrade from last season.

Next question...

Now that they have Porter and re-signed Webster to $5.5m a season, what do they flip Ariza for?

Frame him for a murder is probably their best option.

He had an OPP PER of 12.7 last year.
