I'm glad I won't see Ryan Anderson in a Pels uni anymore

I hated that stupid lean in step back he would do every time he got the ball.

That shot used to drive me crazy. He decided was was gonna shoot the second he'd get the ball even when there was like 12 seconds left on shot clock.

It kind of reminds me of just messing around in pickup games as a kid. When you pretending to be Jordan or whoever. You do that step back shite

Even when he would have a smaller player switch onto him, he would still fade away on that jumper.

Ryno was one of my favorite players here but yeah that fade away jumper was annoying. Wouldn't have been so bad if he didn't do it what felt like 20 times a game

I appreciate all of the local support, charities, etc. but I'm happy the team didn't bring him back

Safe to say he won't be taking that shot often in CC. Gonna be tons of harden getting into the lane and passing it to a wide open Ryno and EG in the corners. Goes without saying that he will see a sizeable uptick in open looks.

Doesn't he own a business in NOLA? Probably will see him in town from time to time (not counting when Houston) comes to town

Corner 3's are not a forte for either of them. They are better at wing 3's.

92% of his threes last season were either "open" or "wide arse open" according to the NBA camera stats.

Expect that number to increase. Pels have no one in Hardens stratosphere at creating offense for teammates.

I think Ryno and Gordon are probably in situations where they are set up to succeed because Houston will be asking less of them than New Orleans did. But if a guy gets 92% of his shots open or wide open and then says he never got open shots, its bullshite and the proper response from a fan of his new team is either acknowledgement of that fact or no response, not acting like now he'll be open 100% of the time.

So 100% of his 3's will be wide open? Shut your dumb arse up.

If Ry says he wasn't open well I'm wont to believe him. Remember a camera is a still shot we don't know what happened before of after. Ryno could have been covered, pulled a sick step back and all of a sudden sports view says he's "open" or maybe even "wide open". Also their defintions of open and wide open are certainly up for debate. Just because the guy isn't with your team anymore is no reason to bash him.

Just because a guy isn't with a team anymore is no reason to bash that team.

See, I can play that game too.

I'm not bashing him, I wish him the best, he seems like a great guy, I just dispute the notion that he never got open shots here. This offense has generated a surprising amount of open shots whether Monty or Gentry was coaching. I'm sure he's excited at the potential drive and kick game with Harden and was just looking for something nice to say without realizing he was bashing his former team. Or maybe there's some level of bad blood, he did have an unusually close tie with Monty, so it could have been a departing shot at Demps/Gentry. Either way it's a factually incorrect statement.

Okay, how about combining that objective camera data with a board full of people who have watched him play way more than you and aren't nearly as blindly loyal as you?
