look guys, the last ROY the hornets had left, so maybe it is a good sign that AD is not winning that this year

One damn game.

I think the better question is, was Robert's crazy game the other night more indicative of his potential ability, or that Greivis is easily replaceable?

Oh lawd.

Some of you are arguing against people that don't really exist. No one here thinks Vasquez is some world beater that can't/shouldn't be upgraded. He's a serviceable PG that would be a good enough starter to contend for a championship on a team like loaded with talent elsewhere (pretty much just Miami right now, LA a few years ago), and would be a great first guard off the bench for any team (which is valuable, especially with his contract). If he's starting for us 3 years from now, then AD better be Duncan 2.0, EG has to have been healthy/consistently play like he did tonight, and we'd better have an All Star caliber 3 and/or 5. But it's not going to be the end of the world if we can't land a clear upgrade at the point and he starts for us again next season. This team minus Aminu + $12-18m in solid FA additions (and EG playing 65+ games) will still compete for the playoffs next year with Vasquez starting and will give us another year to see if Rivers can develop running an offense (which he's clearly more comfortable doing than playing off ball).

14/9 while making $1.2M. 3rd in the NBA in assist.

You have to be a miserable piece of shite to hate on what he has done this season.

He's been much better than I thought he ever could be. But I think they will look to move him to a sub role.

We all know his limitations on.defense, but he needs the ball in his hands to be effective. When they get better players it wont make as much sense to let him dominate the ball all game like he has this season. Maybe his shot continues to develop and he is a threat off ball.

But being the focal point on offense with more limited players vs limited players would be a great role for him.

They dont need to move him and I dont think they should unless there is a good offer out there.

should've drafted lillard

LIllard is playing 40mins a game and Davis is playing 29mins and they have near the same PPG averages. Also davis touches the ball alot less and gets alot less shots. ALso davis is a young 19 year old un developed player while lillard is a 23 year old player that played 4 years in college. We made the right choice by far. Lillard at best will improve to a 20pt 7ast type of guy while davis will have the potential to become a superstar and could averege 25pts 12reb, maybe even more, in his prime. We made the right choice by far.

I could not agree more. People need to quit worrying about the stats and focus on our team. A PG that like to dominate the ball like vasquez wont fit if we plan to build around davis.

I personally think that monty just has a good system set up that PGs thrive in. Jack, Vasquez and Roberts all put up similar numbers in a starting role.

I was very pleased with GV's play earlier in the year. Recently, I have felt his dominance of the ball is hindering EG and AD. I think I fall in the "GV would be a great guard off the bench" camp now.
