If we don't trade 56, what about a Euro draft and stash?

Dell always spends a lot of time looking at Euros, but we never seem to actually get one. 56 is highly unlikely to produce anyone of note right away.
Are there any Euro draft and stashes that might be worth it to keep in Europe for a year or two and see what we have later?
Cedi Osman looks promising, but he might go really early in the 2nd.

Hmmmm
Danny Diez(6'8 SF Spain)
Drastically improved his shooting/can hustle/really good rebounder for an SF
Decent athlete as well
Awudu Abass(6'7 SF/PF Italy)
Explosive athlete/very high defensive potential/greatly improved shooting(but still a bit raw offensively overall)/Very passionate
Shawn Dawson(Israel) if they want to stash him for another year is interesting.

As I see a few of 1st round draft and stashes, let me rephrase.
How many late 2nd round draft and stash players have ever worked out? Especially as late as 56th?
Ginobli and I guess Gasol went kinda late. When did Okur and Scola get picked? 40s or something?
And of how many overall?

Not many I would imagine. But it's extremely rare for 56 to do jackshit, regardless.

Satnam Singh
How about this guy? He's already got more offensive moves than Asik. Doesn't look that athletic though.

It is rare for guys after 15 to do jackshit.

I covered this pretty extensively in my piece. The only draft and stash that has kind of, almost, sort of worked this late (past 50) in the past 10 years is Joffrey Lauvergne
If you said, "Who?" - that's kind of the point. Because he is the BEST of all the draft and stashes taken 50 or later in the last 10 years.
If a guy has any potential, he gets drafted (and stashed) in the late 20's or in the 30's

Kind of what I figured. Good info.
Seems like the best option is to try and move up in the 2nd round by using the pick, maybe Douglas, and a small amount of cash.

Tyler Harvey at 56. Nations leading scorer and 3pt shooter. 43% from 3

The only two words you're going to hear tonight in regard to the Pels are:
CASH CONSIDERATIONS

Picks that late are rarely sold for cash because nobody wants to buy them

Not only that, what are you going to get for 56? 100 bucks?
If anything, it would be moved for a future 2nd or the draft rights to someone in Europe.
Still think we use Douglas' contract to move up.

I would like to see Dell draft Jimmy Smith with the pick, and then trade him ASAP

I would totally pay 100 bucks for the pick, and then I would draft someone to help around the house. Great idea, thank you.

Finding a trade partner could be an issue given his performance over the years, but if we found someone, I don't care what we get in return.
