As losing doesn't make things better, I have a great time every time I go. As far as the atmosphere, the losing record and Saints still playing keeps the area pretty empty and seeing that many seats empty is sad.

I try to go to 5-10 games a year, already been to 2. When its tight and almost win like against the Suns, it was rocking. The other game, vs the Lakers in a blow out, not so much. 'Atmosphere' should improve after football season. I may pull the trigger on going tonight as well.

It depends on how much you enjoy watching basketball. But, it sounds like you're the typical new Orleans basketball fan. So, stick with your usual routine.

The games are fun. Even when the team sucks, the overall experience is a good one.

These are the games to hit when they're playing competent basketball. Cheap secondary market tickets...a fairly high basketball IQ crowd surprisingly. We aren't a good fanbase in terms of numbers, but I've found us smart for a football town. They seem to understand and appreciate the little things.

You went it sounds like? Last nght's crowd wasn't half bad for a weeknight against the TWolves. Keep winning and they'll come.

I found that the crowd sucked. I felt like the crowd was much more into it back when it was the hornets.

I'll never dissuade someone from supporting the team, but you sound like a barrel of fun and laughs. Maybe I'm used to the 25-45 crowds that know we're not playing for anything but it's nice to feel a positive energy in the building again.
