Just curious as to how he's doing overall.

How has Jones been doing? Which has been the better player?

Offense: good-great
Defense: decent at first, since then arse

Jones has been the better and more consistent. He's the player I want to keep of the 2

Jones offensively has been very good, especially when Davis is out or resting.

Defensively he is trash.

D-Mo doesn't get enough court time for me to evaluate him fairly.

He is better than any of our big's defensively and offensively (not named Davis) but that's not hard when you have two turds like Asik and Ajinca.

How is Anderson going?
Living up to that ridiculous contract?

Why he was carrying Dell Demps in the first place is a wonder.

I'd like to keep Jones and d mo and I know Jones would stay and play with Davis and if they would give d mo more minutes I think he would stay also. Guy can play when healthy he was good in Houston two three years ago

Yeah that's why I ask because Jones was pretty decent and Motiejunas was pretty good before they both got hurt. I liked both when they were on the Rockets and was just curious as to how they've been since they both are trying to regain their form.

Jones has done a lot of things well and has earned himself more money than I would pay him. Terrible on D but a good offensive player. And his "pump fake" is so goddamned hilarious. As I pointed out in a game thread EVERY time he does it and it works, Solomon Hill looks at our bench with the most hilarious look on his face. Once I noticed it I was watching it all game. Hilarious.

Motie isn't getting enough minutes. I really like how fluid he is and how good of a passer he is. Not doing too well on D.

Yeah, the way DMo moves the ball so quickly has to make Gentry giddy, but he's lacking on the defensive side, especially rebounding. He's kind of like Ryno in that he's got good OReb numbers and bad DReb numbers.

If I'm ever sitting in seats where I could see it clearly again, I will have my phone out and at the ready and try and get a good video of it and convert it to gif.

I mean EVERY time it worked, if Solo was sitting on the bench...

He would look over at his teammates and have this eyeroll/upside down smirk thing going on that had me cracking up, like he just cannot believe this keeps working. Happened like 4 times.

This.

I'm assuming it's a combination of needing to get in game shape and learning the playbook that has kept him off the court, but hopefully we get to see more of him after the AS break.

I want to say that I'd rather re-sign D-Mo than give up 1sts and/or a large chunk of the salary cap for Centers on other teams, but we just haven't seen enough of him, especially with Davis, to determine that.

It deserves that kind of reaction. Jones is shooting 25% from 3 and 36% from the Dumb Zone. Either teams don't have time for scouting reports on bench players in the regular season or running out to defend a shot is so ingrained in players that they can't help themselves. You really should just let him shoot. Jones = Josh Smith on offense.
