I noticed he was named to the Team USA Pan American games team. He's listed as playing for a team in Russia. He's still only 25 yrs old. Would be good value.

No

He hasn't been able to stay in the league at all.

ETA: He has some talent but next to zero BBIQ(maybe even worse than javale mcgee)

Not a player gentry could use in his avant garde system

I'm not saying he can't come back to the league and be productive, just look at Ajinca, but lottery picks that don't make it...the problem usually isn't a lack of talent.

Dude was lazy in college, and if I remember correctly, there was something on Rivals saying that his HS team did not make the playoffs during his senior year.

If you have a stud like that in HS it's almost inexcusable not to make the playoffs unless he was stuck somewhere like Walker or Holden

even then, a 6-10 kid with NBA skills and athleticism as a senior in HS should get them to the playoffs

i'd imagine even in a place like NYC or chicago, he could take a team of scrubs to the playoffs

Not arguing for Randolph in anyway, but AD went 6-19 his senior year in High School. They still, somehow, made the playoffs, though.

Plus Randolph has been out of HS for 8 years so it's kind of nuts to still hold his HS's teams record against him.

Not sure he adds anything to our roster except potential as a prospect. We have enough PFs btw AD, Ryno, DC, and sometimes Ajinca. Gee may be able to guard PFs and play it in small lineups too. Gee has a better chance as a prospect than Randolph in my opinion anyway, and a team full of prospects won't win much

Randolph's got the backbone of a jellyfish. Mentally he's never been tough enough for the NBA.

Very talented, doesn't have it between the ears or the desire to get better obviously.

If at his size and athleticism he can't even stick as an end of the bench player, there's obviously something very wrong.

I think he had an attitude/effort problem and when guys get that tag it kills them if they're a random rotational guy. He become an afterthought and couldn't get that big chance. We're kind of seeing something similar with Thomas Robinson right now.

I've never seen anything about TRob having attitude issues. If anything, I've read the opposite but I might not be remembering correctly.

Talking more about him getting shuffled around like an afterthought and not getting a chance to showcase himself. Although there's probably something on his end that's contributing to it.

It's depressing to think we almost had TRob instead of AD. Although Demps' history says he might have traded the pick.

Hes talented enough to get a camp invite somewhere.

He is actually a very mature guy, but it was fair to question his love for the game. Also didnt quite gel with the guys at LSU but that season was done as soon as tas and CJ went down.

He also has rueben randle-itis when it comes to facial expressions which doesnt endear him to some
