Hot to fix the Pelicans...

1. Keep Davis and Cousins
2. Decide whether Jrue is your PG
3. Get rid of Hill, Ajinca, Moore
4. Keep Cummingham as a role player.
5. Fire Demps
6. Hire GM who can draft decent players
7. Restock draft picks
So, keep 4 players. Get rid of everyone else with the possible exception of Crawford.
Demps has an awful eye for talent in the draft. I looked at the team the other day. One player was drafted by the Pelicans who's decent and it was a no brained: Anthony Davis
Bower had a better eye for talent in the draft. He got Collison, Thornton, Bass, JR Smith etc. You've got to build through the draft at least some.
Plenty of decent players were available in the 2nd round last year. Still pisses me off we passed on Tyler Ulis. He was perfect for us. Could have put in an uptempo 2nd string PG who fills in for Jrue. He was not going to be a bust. He's having a solid year in Phoenix. Was never going to be a savior, but players like Ulis help build depth. Not sure anyone saw Brogdon doing what he's done. But, we went with a high risk post player who will probably be out of the league in a few years.

I stopped reading when your numbered list did not include firing Gentry
So I'm pretty sure the rest of your summary is stupid

So, you were fine with the part where he clearly meant to say "How to fix the Pelicans" and titled it "Hot to fix..."
Because that was the first clue for me

With the way phones and overcorrect has increased typos I gave him until #3.

How do you not include Asik on this list?
Why do you include Moore?
How do you accomplish this? Just saying it won't make it so.
But it got better, he would rather have Tyler Ulis than Diallo. Even if Ulis turns into a good backup PG like he hopes, that's the most plentiful position in the league, while if Diallo hit's his cieling he'll be one of the rarer commodities in the league, someone that can guard 3-5, protect the rim and hit open jumpers.

I like the name 'Cummingham'

If we can con that saints gm into making a trade with us then we can be stacked. Other than that, I agree the pelicans are "hot to fix".
